The Center for Neurodiversity aims to be the central hub for inclusion and neurodiversity through proactive partnerships, responsive programming, and collaborative community education and outreach.
The Center for Neurodiversity has been created to advance the understanding of how to best educate and support neurodiverse individuals. Ensuring a collaborative decision making process, the Center’s focus is on neurodiverse individuals who desire a greater understanding of themselves, practice in articulating their needs, and enhanced life skills in order to successfully thrive as active members in society. Unlike traditional models, the Center helps individuals, families, educators, employers and communities realize the value of neurodiversity and sensory-friendly design. By transforming the way education is delivered, workplaces are managed, and communities are integrated, the Center will create a sustainable legacy of social stewardship.
