His focus is teaching people to understand and appreciate their dogs’ needs and to find fun and practical solutions which deepen the human-animal bond. Drew firmly believes that the relationship is the key to building confidence and teaching dogs to be successful. Drew’s consulting experience includes developing and implementing training programs for the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work, the Institute of Human Animal-Connection Canine Program, various animal shelters, dog daycares, boarding facilities and a variety of veterinary practices in Seattle and Denver. As our resident canine expert Drew loves sharing his passion and knowledge to improve the lives of dogs and the people who live with them. He appreciates dogs as individuals and encourages people to understand behavior rather than simply try to change or suppress it. Working with the neurodiverse population is a wonderful bridge to his work training animals. As (role), he hopes to build compassionate, innovative and sustainable programs to enrich the lives of human and non-human animals alike.
