RESEARCH & DISCOVERIES

  1. The overarching goal of the program of research at CNRI is to better understand neurodivergent conditions and developing innovative approaches to support and enhance the lives of neurodivergent individuals. To accomplish this, research conducted at CNRI will prioritize a multidisciplinary approach to capitalize on the diverse strengths of faculty and affiliated researchers from both universities.

  2. Preliminary research topics include identifying barriers to access services in clinical and educational settings, utilizing technology to adapt and advance training in evidence-based practice, identifying needs of underserved neurodiverse individuals and families across different geographical settings, and the development of accessible technology and tools to improve social communication.

  3. Research priorities will be guided by opportunities for the procurement of funding through research and training grants, including Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR), The Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI), Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR), Autism Science Foundation, National Institute of Health (NIH), etc.
